Swing Maui is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation, organized and run by dedicated volunteers. This means all your supporter contribution is tax deduct-able and goes to support swing & blues dancing on Maui.
To bring you swing & blues dance instruction and social dances, Swing Maui incurs some basic operating expenses, such as classroom rental, insurance, corporate fees, advertising and printing, BMI & ASCAP fees, music & equipment, etc. and so on.
Lesson fees sometimes cover most these expenses, but not always. This is where the Swing Maui Supporters come in. The more supporters we have, the more of the basic expenses we can cover and the more of the class fees collected from our lessons can be used for special things like: special workshops with internationally recognized instructors, special social dances and parties at nicer venues, live music at social dances and other events and opportunities that benefit all swing dancers on the island of Maui. But we can only plan and host events as the funds are available.

Cost
A minimum $150 tax-deductable donation will place you in the rarefied group of Swing Maui Supporters for a year and get you all the above benefits. Swing Maui averages 45 classes a year. At $10 per class, being a supporter gets you 30 classes free! Plus the social dances and other discounts.
